Lines are created by a point moving throught space. Lines can be described and drawn in many ways. (Straight, curved, zig-zag, squigglely, etc.) Look around you and see how many different types of lines you notice. Althought there are many types of lines, for the purpose of this unit we are going to focus on three different types of lines, contour lines, gesture lines, and line weight.
