Champions Club: Everyday until 5:30 p.m., students participate in a program that focuses on tutorial homework help, sports and arts enrichment.
Middle School Intramural Sports: Two days per week, students learn and compete in numerous competitive sports, such as tennis, flag football, volleyball, golf, and field hockey.
Reading and Math Enrichment: Academic Intervention Services to prepare for the standardized city and state exams, including support in reading and problem solving skills.
Prep for Prep: Preparation for the specialized high school exams is offered to 8th grade students. Preparation is also offered to students applying for the specialized music and art high schools.

Grandma Sophie: Through a partnership with RAIN Inc., students volunteer to assist and share their time with our senior citizens.
Through our Leadership Team, community agencies are encouraged to be active participants in the educational plan for our students.

PEAK PROGRAM: An extended school year including July, two Saturdays per month and classes held until 5:30 P.M. everyday. Students, parents and staff commit themselves to the success of the child.
Regents Programs in earth science and sequential math are provided.
Honors Program including Accelerated English Language Arts, Social Studies, Foreign Language and Art Courses

The New Performance Standards are major components of the Instructional Program in all course work. All students can achieve at levels which demonstrate excellence and ensure success on performance assessment exams required by both New York City and New York State.
