TAKUYA KANBARA
Takuya is the fourth goggle boy, and shares some common traits with the leaders of the past. Besides that standard goggles, Takuya also enjoys soccer and is a member of his school's soccer team. Takuya tends to act without thinking things through. This lands him in trouble, but thankfully he has his friends to rely on. Even though he is rash sometimes, Takuya is a great leader. He stands up for what he believes in and will gladly put his life in danger to save another's.
KOUJI MINAMOTO
Tall, dark and mysterious, Kouji isn't exactly your classic Digimonic hero. On the same level as Yamato and Ken from previous seasons, Kouji has issues. The sadness from his childhood causes him to shy away from people. His lack of human contact has caused Kouji to become almost completely introverted. He, however, has a strong sense of bravery and loyalty. When his friends are in danger, he'll do everything in his power to help them. Slow, but surely, Kouji learns the meaning of friendship, and perhaps, one day he'll learn how to trust.
IZUMI "ZOE" ORIMOTO
Izumi is the main female figure in Frontier. She just moved from Italy, and little did she know that her life would take such a twist. Deep in her heart, she wished for friends, and it seems her wish is finally starting to come true. Izumi is one of the most powerful female characters ever seen in Digimon. She not only speaks her mind, but she also stands her guard in a fight. She's no push-over and she's one girl you don't want to get on the wrong side of. However, Izumi is still a fun loving girl with a flair for beauty. You may not want to ruin her hair though.
JUNPEI "JP" SHIBAYAMA
Junpei is a fairly original character with a character design rarely seen in anime. Junpei is a kind-hearted boy with a love of sweets and girls. When you're down, he'll be there to help cheer you up with either his comic relief or with a spare candy bar. He also appears to have feelings for Izumi, but whether anything develops still remains to be seen.
TOMOKI "TOMMY" HIMI
Young and naive, being thrown into adventure scared young Tomoki. Not knowing who to trust or what to do, Tomoki is seen with tears in his eyes. However, as the story progresses, he begins to understand his situation and learns how to trust. Bit by bit, Tomoki's child-ish side matures as he fights along side his friends.
