Unlike the relics of Age of Empires and Age of Kings, the relics in AOM
have a different use in the game. They are artifacts that the player is
able to gather in order to gain bonuses other than the ones given by the gods.
Relics are picked up and moved by the heroes of each culture, Greek heroes,
Norse Hersir, and the Egyptian Pharaoh. To utilize the bonus a relic has,
you must place it in your temple. But as soon as you do, your enemies
will be notified.
Age of Mythology contains 47 different relics. Their functions are

Bridle of Pegasus
Summons a Pegasus for the player to command. The Pegasus reappears at the temple after one minute if killed. |
