| Dyker recognizes the importance of physical education. Children learn the need for regular exercise, weight control and hygiene. Physical education classes teach children how to exercise and perform physical tasks. Students learn how to play various sports and also find out about the rules that must be followed. Sportsmanship and fair play are emphasized in all sports. | |

| Each year, the physical education classes put on a gymnastics show where students demonstrate the abilities that they have acquired. The Student-Faculty softball and basketball games generate a great deal of enthusiasm and school spirit. The school participates in track meets, such as the Unified Track and Poly Prep events. | |
