and Science Academy is to create enthusiasm and interest for the study
of mathematics, science, and technology. The philosophy emphasizes the
total development of every student while respecting individual differences.
A highly motivated, dedicated, and caring teaching staff afford the opportunity
for students to obtain their optimal potential.
Students create science projects, advance their knowledge of mathematics,
engage in problem solving, learn to navigate the Internet and utilize
software. The Academy offers opportunities for students to excel in middle
school and beyond. Students in this Academy can advance scholastically
by taking regents level courses in mathematics and science.
