Our Mission:

The mission of the Montauk School for Writers and Artists is to create a collaborative learning community whereby students, teachers, administrators, and parents achieve their maximum scholarly and social potential. Our school provides a well-rounded academic program with an emphasis on artistic and literary expression led by a team of master teachers dedicated to creating a studious atmosphere for students at all achievement levels. Artistic opportunities for our students include partnerships with New York University's Creative Arts Team, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the National Shakespeare Company.
