Every now and again, we receive some wonderful e-mails commenting on something great we are doing in the school. I thought it would be nice to create a page that shares the thoughts & words of administrators and educators from around the city:
"I think that what is happening at this school is great - can you please ask that they write up something about the enrichment clusters there so we can share with other schools? How they set them up - what grades are involved - how they get their experts? Etc., etc. Could be very helpful to other schools who are just starting out." -Anna Commitante , Director of the Department of Gifted/Talented & Enrichment (April 2007) "Hi Mr. Korrol, I'm at the citywide RIS meeting with Science and Math RIS's. Dr. Alonso, Deputy Chancellor of the Department of Education, is addressing us and has mentioned PS 101 as a site for best practices. He was very impressed with his visit at your school. Congratulations!" -Joe Scarmato, Regional Instructional Specialist for Science (April 2007) "Congratulations on receiving such public notice for My best, -Iris Baum, Local Instructional Superintendent (April 2007) "How wonderful! It's so exciting. This is really taking SEM (School Enrichment) to new heights. If we have an opportunity at the next principals' conference, I'd love you to share. -Dianne Sharett, Local Instructional Superintendent (April 2007) "What a great example of bridging and connecting learning experiences to the "real world". I will be looking for PS 101 on TV. Enjoy!" -ChristinaVillavicencio, ELL Instructional Support Specialist (April 2007) "Knowing you, I expect to see this on your website very soon after. Congratulations!" -Dr. Sharon Dunn, Senior Instructional Manager for Arts
