The cheetah is the fastest land animal, cheetahs could run up to 71 miles per hour, but it can't run forever it must catch its breath. Race cars are not even faster than these amazing mammals. A cheetah can chase its prey up to 62 miles per hour. Cheetahs are deadly hunters. Cheetahs are carnivores, or meat eaters. They eat small antelope, hares, zebras, gazelles. They could weigh up to 99-133 lb.  

Cheetahs live in Africa. Cheetahs live up to 10-12 years. When the male mates with the female, the male leaves the female and the cubs behind. The female takes care of the cubs all by herself.
