Student Organization
P.S. 204 has an election every year for Student Organization Officers. Mrs. Muscato is in charge of this group. Students who are in fourth grade can run for secretary or treasurer. Students in fifth grade can run for all positions.
There is also a delegate chosen from each third to fifth grade class. The delegates represent their classes at S. O. Meetings.
Fourth and fifth graders who want to run for office have to write a paragraph about themselves. The
candidates that are elected, prepare campaign speeches which are presented in the auditorium. All third, fourth and fifth graders can vote.
The S.O. sponsors very nice events too! The organization sponsors Penny Harvest, Thanksgiving Food Drive, a lollipop sale and a Spring Bonnet contest. S.O. is a great program
