Mission Statement The Mission of the Luis Muñoz Marin Elementary School-P.S. 314, is to promote ethnic, cultural, and linguistic pride in its diverse student population and create an environment that nurtures respect for that diversity. We are committed to providing all students with positive and equitable learning experiences that will enhance their self-esteem and develop to their fullest potential. Students will work collaboratively using strategies that improve academic achievement and foster a love of learning to last a lifetime. This mission encourages the support with parents, community agencies, educational organizations, cultural institutions, and the private sector.
