| The mission
of the Albert Einstein Science Institute at P.S. 314 is to create an environment
where students are given the opportunities to discover and to learn to
solve problems in divergent ways rather than looking for one right answer.
Students will learn to develop strategies to find solutions to problems
we confront every day. All students will be provided with a positive learning
experience which will foster appreciation of science education.
Students will learn the scientific method through hands on approach, develop problem solving and critical thinking skills, research and technology. The collaborative effort of staff, parents, community, educational organizations and professional affiliations is essential in order to enable students to realize their visions for the Twenty-First Century. |
