The P.S.110 school community lost a father, son, cousin, several former students, a local fire station chief and many friends in this tragedy. What started out as a beautiful, sunny day, turned quickly into a day that forever will be etched in our memory. We were all affected in some way when we saw first hand the huge black cloud of smoke rushing up towards the bright blue sky on that tragic Tuesday morning.

Over time, our spirits have been lifted by the outpouring of friendship from schools around the country. We'd like to thank all of our new friends and share some of their notes and drawings.
