Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun and the second largest in the solar system, however it has the smallest amount of density which is 0.7g/cm2. Saturn is a gaseous planet like most of the outer planets. It has more than one thousand rings and is one of the three planets that have rings.
Voyagers 1 and 2 have gather a lot of data on Saturn. Saturn has more than 20 satellites revolving around it. The largest satellite that Saturn has is Titan. Titan has a dense atmosphere.
Saturn's atmosphere consists of mostly hydrogen and has more methane and less ammonia than Jupiter, the largest planet in the solar system.
Saturn gives back three times as much heat as it recieves from the sun. This is possible because it has its own internal heat source. Saturn appears to rotate faster at the equator rather than at the poles.
