| Ms.
Peter's Class: 4-320
Class 4-320 learned about America's first
community center, University Settlement. The children used
books, pamphlets, and the internet as tools to research
this center. They not only learned the history of the Settlement,
but how this Community Center, from its inception, has always
been a haven for residences in different times. In most
recent times, counselors were on hand to help after the
tragic events of 9/11 2001. The students in class 4-320
visited University Settlement and interviewed personnel
who counseled those struggling with their varied losses.
