Sandra Ledesma

Welcome to the Home Instruction Website.

I would like to express my appreciation for all of the positive feedback I have received during my first year as principal. I appreciate your support and patience as the year continues.

During the remainder of the school year Home Instruction Schools will continue to offer:

  • An interactive website for teachers, students, parents and educators.
  • Tele class instruction in literacy, career education, history, Spanish, etc.
  • Guidance services to individual/ small groups of students via a closed conference telephone system.
  • Technology-based instruction (Achieve 3000), utilized by our Home Instruction teachers.
  • Summer school for promotion in doubt students.
  • Preparation for and administration of city and state wide exams (including Regents, RCT and SAT).
  • Specialized instruction to designated special education children, as per IEP goals and objectives.
  • Success in the new standards.
Best wishes for a wonderful second half of the school year to all of our parents, students and staff.

Sincerely,
Sandra Ledesma
