action-packed educational site for elementary,
and middle school students. There is just too much there for
an adequate description of all their activities.
The Math Forum at Drexel University:

The
Kids Place: This is Houghton
Mifflin's mathematics site. It is a
fantastic resource for students grades
K-6.
Ask Dr. Math: Ask Dr. Math is
a question and answer service for math
students and their teachers. A searchable
archive is available by level and topic,
as well as summaries of Frequently
Asked Questions (the Dr. Math FAQ).
Math
Dictionary: An animated, interactive math dictionary for kids. This site
is quite entertaining and informative.
Math
Goodies: As stated at their
site, "Math Goodies is a free educational
web site featuring interactive math
lessons, homework help, worksheets,
puzzles, message boards, and more!

Tangrams: A very nicely done
page that teaches you everything you
ever wanted to know about tanagrams.
Also included are instructions on how
to make the 7 geometric shapes, and
a host of puzzles that challenge your
skill at completing over 100 puzzles.

High School Hub: The High School
Hub is a free online interactive learning
center for high school students.
MathsNet: MathsNet is an independent
educational website providing free mathematics resources
to the education community. It is not an online textbook.
It is interactive, requiring the user to participate rather
than be a passive observer.
S.O.S. Mathematics: S.O.S. Mathematics is a free resource for math review
materials. Some of the review topics it contains are Algebra, Trigonometry,
and Differential Equations. There is more. The site also contains a set of exams
that you can use to prepare of tests, and a "CyberBoard" where you can ask questions.
Purplemath: Purplemath is, as they describe themselves, "your algebra resource."
This is the link to their site that contains at least 100 modules on various topics
covered in an algebra class. Each topic is clearly explained, and most are cross-referenced with
each other when applicable.
Graphing Calculator Help: This Prentice Hall site contains
an interactive index from which you can choose detailed instructions in the
use of the TI-83, as well as 9 other calculators.
Multimedia Math Instruction Pre-Algebra Cartoons Brief animated explanations of basic Algebra Concepts.
XP Math Videos Several excellent middle school movies, games, free ebook versions of popular books, more.
