FDA Chess Kings

 

In comparison to last year's 2007 HS Chess Nationals, FDA Chess has improved in both quantity and quality.
We have grown from having one full team under 900 section with 7 players placing 6th place, 2 players for the
unrated section placing 19th place and 2 players for under 1200 section not placing at all for our first time
competing in a Chess H.S. National.
In this year's 2008 Chess H.S. Spring National, we fielded 3 full teams totaling up to 24 players,
moving up to the under 1600 section for the first time, placing in all three sections nationally and
also placing impressively, in New York State, as you will see below.
