A note from Mr. Trimble about student websites.
New York Times article about Scratch.

Scratch is an application developed by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab. Aimed primarily at children, it allows them to explore and experiment with the concepts of computer programming by using a simple graphical interface. [1]

Scratch runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems, and can be downloaded free.

The computer lab was upgraded in September 2014 with thirty-two 21" iMacs (2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 CPU),
a MacMini Server (2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 CPU) with dual 1TB hard drives.
Our lab is connected to the server via Cisco fiber optic 10/100 switches.
