Our Vision Resource Room Makes the News!

Students who participate in our Vision Resource Room were recently interviewed about their thoughts on our new legally blind governor, and photographs were taken.  On April 4th, 2008, the article appeared in the Western Queens Tribune.  We are so proud of our GCHS philosophers!!

Final ISS Department Class Trip Takes Place on May 15th

The department's final trip for this school year will be to visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island on May 15th.  Approximately 25 students will be selected to participate.  The boat ride and group interaction are the greatest fun of the day, as can be seen below in pictures from our 2005 trip.
