Dear Parents/Guardians, 

At our next meeting on May 20^th at 6:30pm, we will be holding elections for the Executive Board for the school year 2009-2010. 

Currently all positions are available.  We are sending home a PA Executive Board Position Nomination form and the responsibilities of the
officers who will be elected.  We encourage your involvement in school and look forward to seeing you at the May 2009 PA meeting. 
We will also have mother’s day celebration with raffles and food. Be on time.

En nuestra próxima reunión el 20 de Mayo a las 6:30 de la tarde, se llevarán a cabo las elecciones de la junta ejecutiva de la asociación
de padres. Estamos mandándoles el formulario de nominación y las responsabilidades de las diferentes posiciones de los oficiales que
serán elegidos. Les invitamos a que se envuelvan y participen activamente en la escuela de su hijo. Esperamos su participación. 

También tendremos la celebración del día de las madres.  Habrá rifas y comida. Sea puntual.

Database Oracle January 9, 2009,
On Friday, January 9, 2009, our Database Oracle students presented their presentations for the
Global Data Modeling Competition. Their presentation has been sent to the Global Data
Modeling Competition. The winners of that competition
will each receive a $1,000 scholarship, and a trip to San Francisco. We wish them luck!

PARENTS ASSOCIATION     MEETING

         Date: Wednesday, June 10th, 2009

Place: Library at 6:30pm.

The Parents Association will be holding elections for The Executive Board Positions of next school year 2009-2010. All positions are open.

There will be a workshop courtesy of the AIDP program on:

         Immigration Issues for Youth

A legal representative from “The Door” will talk about various mean of relief for undocumented youth, eligibility of services, including in-state tuition for undocumented students at CUNY schools.

All parents are invited. There will be Raffles, and refreshments served. Come and join us. Be on time.

Reunión de la  Asociación de Padres

Tópicos de inmigración para los jóvenes     

Un representante legal de la organización “The Door” estará hablándole a los padres acerca de las diferentes medios de asistencia para la juventud indocumentada, a los servicios que tienen derecho, incluyendo asistencia para registrarse en las universidades del estado.

Todos los padres están invitados. Tendremos rifas y refrescos. Vengan temprano.
