Our students’ task was to design a cover for the NYC Directory of Public High Schools. Their work was completed using Adobe Photoshop. The assignment was to integrate text and image in a visually interesting way and at the same time appeal to the intended target audience of this publication – NYC High School students and their parents. This was a citywide design competition.

For this project our students used Microsoft FrontPage, Adobe Photoshop and ImageReady, and HTML coding. Their objective was to integrate the software and create a rollover button for the Internet. Their button links to a Critical Thinking document that requires them to analyze the process of how and why they created their rollover button. |
