At Cleveland we are fortunate to have a Principal that supports and encourages the use of technology in the classroom. For example, many of us have already been issued laptops. Our Teachers utilize their laptops to enhance instruction with lesson development, grading, and student assessment. These laptops are great tools and are fine examples of how we integrate technology with our teaching objectives. Now we have another addition to our tool belts: Smart Boards. Our recent acquisition of numerous Smart Boards has already made a difference in our daily activities, and provides an added avenue for our teachers to integrate their laptops with instruction. You’ve seen the Smart Boards – they’re hard to miss. In fact we now have over 40 Smart Boards in our building! Where are they? What do they do? How are teachers using them? And, how can you learn to use them? All of these questions, and more, will be answered in this site. |
