Our class studied bears with Mrs. Nanjad. We read books about bears. We all had to go to the Public Library to look for bear books.We read them in class or Mrs. Nanjad read them to us. After that we started working on computers putting information about bears into paragraphs and we drew pictures in Kid Pix. After that we put information about bears into a database. I learned that bears can grow to be very big and they are tall when they stand. Their babies can be born only one pound. They hibernate in the winter. It was an exciting project. by Avinash, class 2-202	Our project was called Vacation Destinations from A-Z. We study communities in class, so this fit right in.We used the internet, books and Groliers Encyclopedia on the computer to research our destinations. We collected data and put it into a database. For our location we chose a picture to represent the destination. We inserted the actual picture into our work, then we created our own rendition of that picture.
