Congratulations to all of the hard working athletes in our special education classes! The Special Olympics was a great success for us here at P.S. 90.
A very proud teacher with his student
student who takes home the gold! I was so
excited about going to the Special Olympics on Thursday. It
was even better then I thought because I won two medals. One
medal was for first place. The other medal was for third
place. I won the medals for the Long Jump and the 400 Meter
Relay. There were so many children there from many different
schools. Many of them also won medals. Almost everyone in my
class won a medal or medals. My teacher was so happy and
proud of all of us. The
Special Olympics was Thursday. It was great. I was so happy
because I won first place! All of my friends from my class
were counting on me, and I did it! Everyone was happy. All
of my friends and teacher said, "Good job"! I couldn't wait
to go home to tell my mom. My mom was so happy when I told
her that I won first place and showed her my
medal. The
Special Olympics was the greatest! At the Olympics I was a
pentathalete for our class. That means that I had to race in
five different events. I won in three of the five events. I
won a first, second and a third place medal. My teacher was
very happy. So was I. It was a very fun day.
