Here at P.S. 90,
parents voted for our children to wear uniforms to school
every day. We have a uniform for the year and a modified
uniform for the end of the school year when the weather gets
warmer.
Boys must wear a
white collar shirt with a blue tie, long navy blue pants,
black shoes or sneakers, and white or navy socks. Girls must
wear a white collar blouse and tie with a navy blue skirt or
jumper, with navy socks and dark shoes or
sneakers.
In the summer the
uniform is modified. Long navy shorts and navy skorts may be
substituted for long pants and skirts. Ties do not have to
be worn, but collar shirts (polo shirts) must be worn. Dark
socks and shoes still must be worm.
Usually children
are permitted to wear the summer uniform in September, May,
and June.
