Mission Statement

To offer an academically sound and challenging program leading to a high school diploma in a small student-centered environment, using experimental group/individualized teaching strategies in a global and holistic approach to skill building; |
To provide supportive services that cater to the needs of an urban, working student populace largely disaffected by the traditional day high school, and shouldering many adult responsibilities, in a small setting that enables flexible scheduling and programming. |
To serve a bridge of preparation for meaningful life beyond high school by fostering understanding of their world around us and responsibility to the community. |
To encourage students to strive towards excellence in a non-competitive learning environment so they can engage in life from a pro-active stance rather than a reactive position. |
To equip our students with the necessary skills by effectively utilizing teaching to succeed in their post secondary options; both career and academic. |
