**For us to have OPTIMUM SUCCESS, there are a few simple things we need to adhere**

    On my part, I need to be Present, Punctual and Prepared to teach chemistry/Physics. I also need to be prepared to answer your questions to the best of my ability every time we meet for class or scheduled. On your part, the following things are expected of you:

1. You are expected to attend classes regularly (98% of the time) and punctually
2. You are expected to take notes; therefore, you are expected to have an 8.5'' by 11" notebook.
3. You are expected to complete all homework assignments and turn them in on time. Usually, problem are assigned at the end of each lesson and are expected to be done overnight and handed in at the beginning of the next class. All homework problems assignments are done the next day in class, therefore, I do not accept any homework assignment whose solutions were worked out in class!
4. You are expected to attend LABS once each week (for Active Physics, the classes are labs), all lab reports are due at the beginning of the next lab, unless you are told otherwise. All labs should be typed.!! I do not accept a-n-y perforated/jagged edges/spiral paper, you know, the type that you rip out of your notebook and delight in handing in to teachers. late labs will be penalized 10points per day late with a max of 50 points.
5. You are expected to take and pass all of my quizzes and exams. Whenever there are four consecutive school days (days in which B.C.N.H.S has classes) in a week, the fourth day usually Thursdays - are designated as quiz days. DO NOT MISS THEM. I do not give make-up quizzes!! However, if I am given prior notice before a quiz is given or if you can give a legitimate reason for missing a quiz (death in the family, or documented illness to yourself of close family member who is in your care, etc), I will note your absence and you will not be penalized. Missed exam and quizzes with out a legitimate excuse results in a ZERO. NO MAKEUPS!!! All quizzes  and exams are announced ahead of time.

HOW YOUR GRADE IS DETERMINED

**Miscellaneous - Attendance 5%, notebook check project 10%, and class room participation 5%**
