His first and last appearance was in the 3rd Dragon Ball Z movie. A henchman of Taurus before he was killed by Goku.

Bojack
Bojack is a very strong villain who was trapped inside King Kai's planet until Goku destroyed it. Bojack appears in Dragonball Z Movie 9 during the World Tournament. He competes and eliminates Vegeta, Trunks, and Piccolo. Gohan was almost defeated until Goku used his instant transmission technique to teleport to Gohan from the after world. Gohan defeats Bojack after going Super Saiyan 2 with his fathers encouragement. Goku has broken a major rule, but King Kai was understanding and he got off the hook.

Bra
Bulma and Vegeta's second child. She gets her looks from Bulma, and attitude from Vegeta. She is daddies little girl. There isn't much Vegeta wouldn't do for her. She has a bad attitude, a loud mouth, and loves to shop. She also looks just like Bulma.

Brolly
A legendary Super Saiyan. Brolly is also known as Burori. He was born with a power level of 10,000! He has hated Goku ever since they were children when Goku made him cry. He only appears in movies 8, 10, and 11.

Burter
Member of the Ginyu force. An extremely fast creature in the earlier episodes DBZ. Usually fights along side Jeice. Also obsessed in striking poses before a big attack.

Chi Chi
Chi Chi is the gutsy wife of Goku, and daughter of Ox-King. She does not do much fighting in Dragonball Z and GT, although in Dragon Ball she did have a weapon on her head for self defense. She used it a little too much. Chi Chi never holds back her feelings. She even slapped Majin Buu for killing Gohan. He killed her shortly after. She was revived later with the dragonballs.

Goku and Chi Chi's second son. Goten was the youngest super saiyan ever at age 6. During his childhood, he is just like Goku as far as personality and looks. Although he is a little naive, he has fighting in his blood. He competes in 3 martial arts tournaments, but didn't win one. His best friend is Trunks. They hang out a lot together during Dragonball Z. He is also the main character during the Brolli movies. He later fuses with Trunks to become the second ever Super Saiyan 3 ever, Gotenks. As an adult in GT, Goten is pretty lazy.

Goku
This is Goku's background in the dragonball z series:
Goku was sent to earth on a mission...to destroy it. He was sent in a space pod from Planet Vegeta. He was considered to be one of the weak saiyan warriors but boy would Goku show them. When he landed on Earth he was found by Grandpa Gohan. All of Grandpa Gohan's wisdom of love and good did no good to help Goku stop his bad ways. One day Gandpa Gohan was taking a walk with Goku, and Grandpa Gohan lost grip of the violent child and he fell down a cliff where a waterfall was and hit his head. You may think this was bad but actually it was probably the best thing for him. He miraculously recovered and forgot all his violent ways and was then a peaceful and loving boy. Goku was trained by many wise and powerful people throughout his life. As he grew he didn't only make friends he also made many enemies, such as Piccolo, the Red Ribbon Army, the Androids, and Cell. Dealing with immortal warriors that want to take over the world, facing his brother Radditz, and even facing a prince of his own race, Vegeta. You could say he took on many challenges. And the funny thing is, nothing ever got to this guy. He always smiled and is never depressed. To wrap it all up, Goku is the most important character in Dragonball z/gt. _________________________________________
Future Trunks
Definitely plays a huge role in DBZ. He comes from the future in Bulma's time machine "hope". In his time, the androids have killed the Z warriors. He is the sole survivor and comes to warn the past. When he arrives he defeats King Cold and Frieza and warns Goku of what is coming.
This is a demon that was created by a an evil boy. All of the boys evilness and powers went into this newly created demon. The round yellow monster didn't have any intention to hurt anyone even though his power was tremendous. Goku defeated him after turning super saiyan three. Then a pile of Janemba's remains transformed into a devil with even greater power. Goku and Vegeta tryed taking him on and couldn't defeat him. It wasn't until they correctly fused into Gogeta, that they beat him.

Jeice
Jeice is another member of the notorious Ginyu Force. He usually fights along side Burter. He runs away from Goku after he defeats Recoome and Burter. He flies away to bring Captain Ginyu to the battle scene. Jeice is defeated by Vegeta.

Marron
This is Krillin and Android 18's daughter. The funny thing is she is named after Krillin's beloved and rather ditsy first girlfriend Maron. She is rarely seen to be doing much. Her appearance is any exact mix between Krillin and 18 up to 11 years old. But she develops her mom's looks in GT when she's about 13 and up as shown to the left.
Sent to Earth with Vegeta on a hunt for the Dragon balls. He was part of the Saiyan Elite. He managed to kill Piccolo, Yamcha, Tien, and Chaozu. Nappa was killed by Vegeta because he was badly injured by Goku and was of no more use to Vegeta.

Pan
Pan is the daughter of Gohan and Videl and she is an important character in the Dragon Ball GT series. She is also the strongest female fighter in the series and very adventurous. Pan joined Chibi Goku and Trunks in their search for the black star dragon balls. Pan took control of Goku's mind while he was a Golden Oozaru and caused him to transform to SSJ4.
Radditz is Goku's brother. He, like Goku, is a strong saiyan. He came to Earth to try and convince Goku to come wit him and blow up planets. When Goku refused, Radditz kidnapped Gohan. In the end, Goku sacrificed his life so Piccolo had an open shot and killed Radditz.

Recoome
Member of the Ginyu Force, he was large, strong, and slow. Since he was slow, smaller and faster adversaries were able go up against him with no problem. Because of his size and strength, he defeated Vegeta with no problem. However when faced by Goku he was defeated from one blow. A little bit later Vegeta mercilessly incinerated him with an energy blast.

Rirudo Shogun
Rirudo Shogun was sent on a mission to find Goku and steal the dragon balls from him. Goku was betrayed by Giru who took the dragon balls and delivered them to Rirudo. Goku killed Rirudo after a strenuous battle. He comes back from hell, and is later killed by Trunks and Goten.

In the original DB, Yamcha was a fierce bandit. Upon meeting Goku and his friends, he decided to join them on their quest to collect the dragonballs hoping to make a wish of his own. Much comedy was based on his fear of girls, and especially Bulma. But overtime, the fear had gone and he found himself dating Bulma. Although Yamcha has no Saiyan blood and is just a human, he still still a very good fighter. He decided that he didn't want to fight the androids and that's when his training had finished.

Vegeta
Vegeta is a one of the main characters through Dragonball Z and Gt. His father was the king of a planet called "Planet Vegeta", which makes him the "prince of all saiyans". At the beginning of Dragonball Z, Vegeta had no second thoughts about killing. As he continues through his journeys, he loses some savageness, although he still has an attitude problem and is sneaky. Vegeta and Goku are rivals all throughout Dragonball Z and Gt. Goku is always one step ahead of Vegeta though.
After Vegeta marries Bulma, he has two children, Trunks and Bra. In GT, he joins the battle against Buu. He even sacrifices his life to kill Buu, but Buu survived. While Mr. Buu was fighting Majin Buu, Vegeta formed a plan to defeat the evil Buu. He told Dende to make a wish with the already collected dragonballs. It was to bring everyone who died after the World Tournament except the evil at heart. Vegeta was revived along with the others who died.

Zarbon
Probably Frieza's toughest henchman and also, most trusted. Zarbon contains the unique power to transform into a terrible monster when he gets extremely mad. Although he was defeated by Vegeta rather easily
