The Video Production Course is designed to coincide with the Television Production Course. Students must be highly motivated, attentive, willing to accept challenges, and be able to work in groups as well as independently. Video Production focuses on:

Pre-Production – How to plan a project. What  essential pieces of equipment are needed Which video format to choose. How to organize and hire a crew. How to target an audience.
Production – How to pick the right location. How to set up a shoot. How to light a scene. How sound is recorded on location. How to best utilize the talent and crew. Which camera shots to use.
Post-Production – How to edit. How to track and add music to video. How to dub sound. How to screen the finished products. How to evaluate the quality of a movie.
Legal Problems – What the legal obligations are to the crew and talent. What permits are necessary to begin. What insurance is needed.
