BOCES

These are off-site training courses offered through the Brooklyn High Schools.

All students in the special education program are afforded the opportunity to attend the exciting courses offered in the BOCES program. Students must be interviewed and their academic scholarship reviewed before being admitted to any BOCES program.  Excellent attendance is required.   Currently, there are several options in this program available to Midwood High School’s special education students.

Culinary Arts at Erasmus High School

This course offers food preparation and cooking skills to eligible students.  Cooking and baking essentials are mastered in the up-to-date kitchens of Erasmus.

Construction Education at Wingate High School
