HOME AND CAREER SKILLS TECHNOLOGY

In the Home and Career Skills Technology classes students learn important skills that they will be using for the rest of their lives. These classes help prepare students for work and home experiences

In our Technology classes, students learn skills that they will use in their technology classes in high school. Students learn to use systems to design solutions to real world problems.

In Home and Career Skills classes, students are involved in learning about specific job oriented skills as well as with learning about the practical problems of life. Decision making, personal development, money management, and career planning are all discussed. In addition to class discussions, we utilize videotapes on areas such as energy production and environmental conservation. Classes also go on trips which allow them to experience how we use technology each day.
