mission / educational philosophy of the Ditmas Educational Complex is to provide all
students with an equitable education that allows each one to achieve his/her highest
potential and become a productive citizen, ready to participate in a democratic society,
as well as foster a love of learning that will last a lifetime.This goal will be achieved through a process-oriented program that uses problem solving strategies to demonstrate the connection between education and the world of work. Our school also seeks to promote ethnic, cultural and linguistic pride in the diverse student population and create an environment that nurtures respect for that diversity. This mission / philosophy encourages the support of partnerships with parents, community organizations, educational organizations, cultural institutions and the private sector. |
