At P.S. 112 education is a cooperative effort of dedicated teachers, staff, parents and administration.  We have computers in our classrooms and our programs focus on  each student's individual needs.  Technology has been expanded in several classes for the purpose of enriching the curriculum and the development of research skills.  (There is also an emphasis on the development of reading skills through a Balanced Literacy Approach.)

             Academic excellence and high pupil achievement are also emphasized.  Academic subject and communication skills are integrated with activities designed to foster imaginative thinking, creative problem solving and the skills necessary to  attempt and achieve the Chancellor's Standards of Excellence.
