PS 48 is an elementary school with a collaborative teaching approach that enables teachers and parents to work together to achieve maximum results for all students.  This revolves around our determination that every child has the capacity to achieve.  Our job at PS 48 is to provide information, methods and opportunities for this to happen.  We develop and implement quality interdisciplinary instruction that is designed to meet all the needs that our diverse population brings to our school.  The goal is to facilitate every child meeting the State and City Standards.
