Dear Fashion: What makes Fashion High School so unique?
It is the only high school totally devoted to the study of the Fashion careers.

Dear Fashion: Do you offer the same academic courses as an ordinary high school?
The High School of Fashion Industries provides a complete academic program for all students. We have advanced placement and honors classes for superior students as well as programs for students as well as programs for students who need extra help. We offer AP in Spanish, English, Statistics, U.S History, Government, and of course all required History, English, Math and Science curricula.

Dear Fashion: If I decide not to pursue a career in fashion, will colleges accept me for study fields such as Pre-Law or Computer Programming?
Yes. Many of our recent graduates have been accepted into programs n college which will prepare then for careers as doctors, engineers, accountants and computer programmers. Our excellent academic courses make this possible.

Dear Fashion: I live outside of Manhattan. Is it difficult to travel to Fashion High?
No. Fashion is located on 24th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues in the heart of midtown Manhattan. It is near every city subway line. Transportation passes are available to all students.

Dear Fashion: Are there jobs in the Fashion field? I want to be sure that there are jobs in the Fashion career I am interested in.
Yes. All special courses taught in our school prepare you for jobs either after graduation from high school or additional training in college.

Dear Fashion: I want a Fashion career. Is it easier to get into a college which specializes in fashion after graduating from Fashion High School?
Yes. We are better able to prepare you for admission to a college specializing in fashion careers.

Dear Fashion: Do you have extracurricular activities?
Yes. We offer many extracurricular activies including and Illustration/Fashion Design Club, boys and girls Basketball, Drama Club, Science Lab Club, Volleyball, Track teams and many more.

Dear Fashion: Do you offer any scholarships?
YES! Students who do well academically can receive up to 100.00 annually, as well as earn many thousands of dollars in scholarship as graduation seniors.
