Business Computer Applications. Advanced Excel
Marketing 1 and 2: The movement of goods and services from producer
to consumer. Fashion Buying: Role of the buyer in selecting, buying,
and selling merchandise.
Marketing Lab: Students buy and sell merchandise, operate and manage
the school boutique.
Visual Merchandising
Visual Merchandising Materials and Techniques:
Tools and techniques for designing and executing displays.
Merchandising Presentation: Basic design principles and materials
used in displaying merchandise.
Store Planning: Basic store layout, plans elevations, lighting and
fixtures.
Point of Purchase: Research and design of point of purchase products.
Marketing Lab: Management and operation of fashion boutique
12th Year

Business Ownership: Enterpreneurship
Electronic Information Processing: Advanced Microsoft word software
programs. Power Point Computer Program. Web page design.
Nontextiles: Merchandising of cosmetics and fragrances, home fashions,
furs, leathers, and jewelry.
Visual Merchandising
Window Display: Designing displays for interior and exterior school
windows.
Exhibition Design: Creating exhibits for professional trade shows;
designing and constructing the stage set for the annual fashion
show.
Electives ( Students from all majors):Tech
Prep: The Business of Fashion: a course developed with F.I.T. covering
topics in market research, buying textile selection, manufacturing
and management. Coopertive Work Study: Part time work for experienced
students ages 16 and over. In work study students work after school
and earn one occupational credit each semester. Students employer
evaluates and provides the student employee with a final grade.
